Today I have my # 4 reason people don't make money in network marketing. That is because there are alot of people out there that look for instant cash. Whether they expect to makes tons of money right away or they just want a couple hundred buck and they are done. Both of these viewpoints you want to keep out of your business. The person that expects to "get rich quick" is usually one of the worst types of people to sponsor. They have one thing in mind and that is money. Their prospects see this and will run the other way. It is very hard to bring someone into your business when they see dollar signs in your eyes. The other type of person is the person looking to make a little bit of money and then be done. What causes this is that they just do not have a big enough "why" to continue any furthur. If you come acrossed people with this attitude it is best to say "thank you for your time but you are not who I am looking for."
The person that expects to get rich quick really needs to re-think that. Any business you start takes time to build up. Let me repeat that. ANY BUSINESS TAKES TIME TO BUILD UP. What I mean is that if you get started thinking that you will get to leave your job immediately or even be financially free in the next month you need to be more realistic. Sure this is all possible but most new network marketers see alot of people having success but do not understand the price they had to pay to get there. You can have anything you want but you need to understand they don't come overnight. Network marketing is not a "get rich quick" deal but it is a get rich deal. Tell me the last time your job offered to help you get rich?
For people who come acrossed the prospects looking for just a little bit of money I would say it really isn't worth your time recruiting them. The time you have to spend helping them get their extra 200 bucks isn't worth me leaving my family for. I want to work with people that want to make 2 million bucks.... per year. Right there shows that the why has to be big enough to keep people in the game. A mentor of mine once told me a story of a guy he was sitting down with. They were going over why he wanted to get started with the opportunity. What was said is really a perfect reason not to bring this person into your business. The prospect told my mentor that his why was so that he could afford better beer? Now thats not going to keep him in the game when the going gets tough! One thing you can do to help these people is to pull their why out of them. Ask them questions about what they would do if money wasn't a problem. This can get people thinking deeper about what they really want. Then if they provide you with big "why's" then it is up to you to decide if you want them in your business. Your "why" should make you cry!

Top 5 Reasons People Don't Make Money in Network Marketing!
This is something I have been thinking about for a while and I am sure many network marketers wonder the same things. I want to discuss my top 5 reasons people do not make money in network marketing and offer some solutions to help people overcome these. Today we will start with reason # 5 and go over the rest in the following days.
5. People leave their opportunity too soon!
This one is pretty simple but is VERY true. From my experience people just do not stick with their company long enough to begin to see success. We are all told it can take 2-5 yrs of consistent work in our business before we can start to generate a good residual income. For most people though they will get started and lose their vision that they had when they got started and it now becomes easier to quit than continue. In any business, whether it is network marketing or not, there will be struggles. We are brought up in school to think that failing is bad. Thats not the case in business. Failure is your best education! It helps you by forcing you to take a look at what you are doing and find a new way to do things. What separates the true entreprenuer from the normal person is that they understand this principle. Most people approach network marketing with no real business experience so they have yet to realize the benefit of failing their way to success.
I heard a story one time of a gold miner that began his quest for riches during the gold rush. He went west to the right area and began to mine. As luck would have it he found a good bit of gold and was having success. He then sent someone to go back to his family and tell them of the success he was having so that he could raise money for better tools to mine with. After raising enough money for all the tools and equipment he needed he began drilling again. After a few weeks he lost the vein of gold he was following and became very frustrated. The miner was not finding anymore gold and decided to sell his land to another miner so he could pay off his equipment. When the second miner took control of the property he a surveyor look at the land to help find where he should start drilling. the surveyor told him that the previous owner was only 3 feet away from tapping back into the vein of gold because he mis-calculated the fault lines in the area. Now don't you think it would have been worth it for the first miner to stick it out and just keep going?
The solution to help defeat this problem is as simple as the problem itself. What you need to do is understand that this will be a process that takes time. There are no true overnight success stories. Everyone went on a journey to get to where they are and thats all your have to do to. Just stay in the game and continue to learn new tips and tricks to making your business successful. Keep moving forward because once you stop it is really easy to walk away and give up. Giving up and failing are two completly different things. Giving up can happen at anytime but it takes a lifetime to truly fail.
I hope this helps someone, somewhere wondering if they have it in themselves to keep moving forward in their network marketing business! Check back tomorrow for the # 4 reason people dont make money in network marketing.

Learning and Growing in your business.
Today I found myself trying out some new techniques and it amazes me how much more you learn by doing! You can sit there all day reading and studying something but the true knowledge comes from putting it into action. I have heard that many time before and today proved to be a perfect example of what that is all about. I encourage everyone to continue to educate themselves but get out there and apply what you learn! Then come back and repeat the cycle over and over. We all can benefit from this. You live once and God wants you to live a life of abundance. So go out there and apply everything you learn. Make it a great day!
